Completing the Training
1. On the landing page, the course(s) you’ve been assigned to are assigned to Folders. Begin with the Start Here folder:
2. After completing the Start Here package/lesson, select your course folder. This will vary based on your volunteer role. Once in the folder, you will see the list of Packages (modules) contained within the course. Each package contains a set of lessons and possibly, a quiz. The package header identifies how many of the lessons and quizzes you have completed and/or still need to complete.
3. When you have completed all the lessons and quizzes in a package, exit the package by clicking on the back arrow at the top of your phone screen or on the “packages” link on your computer.
For more information on how the Learn to Win app is organized, click the button below.
A: First, make sure you have completed any quizzes associated with that package of lessons.
Lessons and quizzes are found on separate tabs inside the package. To view each, click on the appropriate tab (shown in the image). When you have selected a tab, it will be highlighted in black and red.
If all lessons and quizzes are complete, exit out of the course (back to the “Folders” view), then select the course again. You should then see a green “completed” flag on each package to show that you have completed everything in it.
All the packages in the course must have a green flag for you to be complete with the course.
A: You will be notified at the start of your final lesson or quiz that a certificate is going to be attached upon completion of that lesson/quiz.
A certificate will be sent to you automatically within 2-minutes of you completing your training and passing appropriate quizzes with a passing score or completing Spotter Training. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it right away.
The from email address is: certificates@learntowin.com and the subject line of the email is PGA TOUR ShotLink Completion Certificate.
A: The navigation button won’t turn black and allow you to select it until all the information on that screen has been viewed.
If there are drop down menus on the screen, open each of them to read the information in each section.
If you’re taking the course on a mobile device, scroll up and down to make sure you’re seeing all the information on each screen.
A: You are welcome and encouraged to review any portion of the course again! All of your completion will be saved, and you can review any of the lessons you would like. However, your original quiz score will not change if you retake it.
A: Please fill out the form below to submit a request for technical assistance. Make sure you include your contact information, your volunteer role, and the tournament for which you are volunteering.
Miscellaneous
A: We are so grateful for our returning volunteers! If you have previously served as a Walking Scorer, your experience will certainly be valuable. However, the Walking Scorer application you will be using for a Korn Ferry Tour or PGA TOUR Champions event is new. We encourage you to take a few minutes to go through the designated training course to see what the differences are.
If you have previously completed this training course on the Learn to Win platform, your completion status will remain valid through the current tournament season. We ask volunteers to repeat the training in the new season in order to stay current on new information and updated technology.
A: Each volunteer must have a unique email address. Please contact SLVolunteerTraining@pgatourhq.com and provide them with an additional email address and the name of the associated volunteer.
A: Contact both your committee chair and support@learntowin.zendesk.com to update the email address you have on file.
