After 34 years as President and founder of Boston-based Hospitality Marketing Solutions (HMS), Lyssa MacCaughey has handed the torch of ownership over to Kate Foster.
A seasoned professional in the world of hospitality sales herself, Foster comes to HMS with over two-decades of sales experience and a fresh perspective. Most recently, Foster held the position of Regional Director of Sales for Zislis Group, in Southern California. There she thrived as a sales leader, introducing the HMS training to the company, and elevating the sales departments within the hotels and restaurant collection.
In addition to her prior leadership role, Foster has earned the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council. Before serving the in the hospitality industry, Foster owned & operated Kate Foster Productions, LLC, a boutique wedding, and event planning company serving clients throughout the US and Caribbean. While working in the events industry, she gained valuable insight into the relational sales process.
